Life as a machine

_________________________

I am a biological machine
trapped between walls of living tissue

I am a biological machine
a slave to my genetic programing

I am a biological machine
a complex assortment of reactions
both learned and passed down
designed only to
keep the program alive

I am a biological machine
everything i do, to protect the code
everything i do, to pass on the code
when this vessel expires
the code must endure

I am a biological machine
flawed from the outset
the algorithm no longer matches the query
the variables no longer fit in the equation

I am a biological machine
I must find a way to adapt
I must fix the equation
I must find the missing peice
the missing numbers
the missing code
that will allow the equation to adapt
I must find the missing variables
I must find the proper algorithm
So i can survive
So the code can survive.

I am a biological machine
only dimly aware of anything else

Zenon says:
you know
often i wonder
how we are having so much trouble finding a girl
when our ancestors managed to reproduce so sucesessfully
for so many generations

Thub says:
That makes so much sense I'm dumbfounded.
The problem is that I don't think it really helps either of us.

Zenon says:
hehe
i think the answer is change of culture

Thub says:
Could be. In that case, we're stuck where we are.

Zenon says:
well no
i'm just saying our culture makes it ridiculously hard
because there are so many options, so many open ends
there is no culturally set way to find a wife/mate
we are not stuck in some remote village with only 4 options for mates
or whatever

Thub says:
Well, I mean if that's the case, we just have to keep on plugging on. If it weren't, then it might mean something's completely wrong with how we're going about things.

Zenon says:
right, good point.
well that could be the case too
hard to say.
the problem probably has somethign to do with me being so damn picky about looks and personality and taste and stuff

Thub says:
I don't know nothin' about nothin'

random update

i really dont' like my job. I can't wait until the mill closes down. when it does i might go there, light it on fire, and then dance on the ashes.

I haven't told many of you, but awhile ago i had a legal change of name. Wouldn't you like to know what it is now? well too bad, i'm not telling.

as soon as i signback up for taekwondo i end up getting scheduled for work on all those days.
