Miscilanious update... nothing thoughtfull or funny to read here... move along... move along.
so after much long deliberating and agonizing about what i'm going to do for a living, what i'm going to do when my job at the mill shuts down. I've figured it out. Actually, i knew what i wanted to do, i just couldn't figure out how to afford or support it. My two dreams were to get a pilots liscence or to go back to school and study something such as astrophysics or aerospace engineering. Anyways. I've opted for the first option... to be a pilot... and i'm going to join the airforce to do it. They can pay for my training, and give me a salary in the meanwhile. Sounds good to me. Plus since i have my degree i can enter as an officer... yay!
But before i do that i'm going to be getting laser eye surgery... so my vision will be perfect... yay for perfect vision! So i think i'll apply for the air force in... march or maybe the end of feb.
For those of you who think i'm going to be blown up by terrorists i'd like you to know that the canadian air force only has 18 combat planes. Most of what they do is search and rescue, troop movement, canadian sea and shoreline patrol, and delivery of foreign relief foods.
man i was going to write so much more... but oh were is the energy for it?
i must have left it in albequerque.

Hooray! I think that's f*&{in' great! I think you'll love it! Well, not all of it of course, like the early stuff and the yelling. I'm assuming you go through some kind of basic training stuff first. Maybe not though, with the degree and all. What do I know? Anyway, I'm glad you got something figured out.
Also, I didn't realize your vision wasn't fabulous. If someone had asked, I would've said, "fabulous vision on that guy, yep."
Of course, I'm not the most observant knife in the drawer—
You are the man!
That is just rad. I am pumped for you.
All I ask is that should I need a free ride to Poland at some point in my life, I'll need you to do it. So thank you in advance.
Epilogue: You are the man!
thub: yup i'll need to do basic training, but it will be officers training instead of the regular type. Upon completing officer training ill be immediately promoted to an officer because of my degree, instead of having to do 4 years of military acadamy.
Kyle stewart: Your epilouges rock my word. If i'm ever going to poland i'll drop you a line?
I'm excited for you! Where will you be headed? Alberta? I have no idea where there would be a base or whatver for you to go...:P
What's the difference of entering as an officer with entering as..not an officer?
officers are higher ranking and make more money.
and during the first two years i would be moved all over the place for different training. Officer training is done somewhere in quebec, and then i would be moved somewhere else for occupational training, etc... until the training is done, and then you reiceve an 'assignment' as to which base you will be serving at.
ahhh...well then, it's a good thing you're able to enter as an officer ^_^
SQUEE! I am very excited for you..also, guys in uniform=hot :P
